We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phone etiquette and have a strong background in clerical tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and maintaining effective communication within the team.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using various software applications, including QuickBooks and Google Suite.
Organise and maintain office files, records, and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence to support team initiatives.
Support office operations by managing supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary.
Collaborate with team members on various projects while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Experience
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Proficiency in using computerised systems for data entry and office management tasks.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail is essential.
