Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft Office and Sage.

Duties



Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly filed. Manage office correspondence, including answering phone calls and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required. Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents to facilitate easy retrieval. Support financial operations by handling basic bookkeeping tasks using Sage. Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for team members as necessary. Provide clerical support to various departments within the organisation as needed. Help maintain office supplies inventory and order new materials when necessary.

Experience



Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Proficiency in using computerised systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software would be advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective phone etiquette and professionalism in all interactions.
