We're a small construction business looking for a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to keep our office running smoothly. You'll support our team with daily tasks, help maintain clear communication, and ensure our operations stay on track. Duties
Manage office tasks like scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and answering phones with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Handle accurate data entry and keep our records up to date.
Organise and maintain filing systems for easy access to project documents and records.
Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to create documents, track project data, and prepare reports.
Assist with basic bookkeeping in Xero, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Support the team with various administrative tasks to streamline workflows.
Prioritise and manage tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Previous office or administrative experience, ideally in a construction or small business setting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) with strong computer and typing skills.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented with a knack for keeping accurate records.
Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn new tools or processes.
Familiarity with Xero is a plus but not required--we'll train the right candidate.
