Job Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential clerical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks, including data entry, managing communications, and maintaining office systems. The successful applicant will be a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills and a strong command of computer applications.

Duties



Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents. Manage data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Answer phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Maintain office supplies and inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are available. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Google Suite and other software. Support financial record keeping using Xero is essential. Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements



Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred. Strong clerical skills with a focus on data entry accuracy. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Proficiency in using computer applications, particularly Google Suite, Xero Exceptional organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with general office procedures and practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
