Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our office environment.
*Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations
- Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure documents are organised
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings for engineers
- Liaising with suppliers and distributors
- Completing invoicing and providing quotes for customers
- Conduct general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy levels
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is advantageous
- Competency in computerised systems and office software
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to type accurately and at a reasonable speed
- Good phone etiquette when interacting with customers
