JOB PURPOSE
1.1To work as a member of the Information Governance Team in the provision of a high quality administration service across all departments within the Hospice to enable effective and efficient delivery of services in line with the Hospices strategic objectives.
2.0 KEY TASKS
To work as a member of the Information Governance Team in the provision of a high quality administrative service to all departments within the Hospice.
Under the direction of the Administration Lead, to provide administrative support to all members of the Information Governance Team, with specific responsibility as detailed below:
General office administration tasks required by members of the Information Governance Team such as photocopying, filing, archiving and data inputting.
To assist with the production of basic business documents such as letters.
To assist with the booking of rooms and equipment ensuring that facilities and resources are available as and when required.
To assist with the smooth running of the main Hospice reception, welcoming patients and visitors to the Hospice in a professional and friendly manner and the timely and courteous answering of the switchboard and transferring calls or taking messages as appropriate and receiving and process of donations. All reception functions should be carried out in accordance with the Reception Procedure file.
3.0 GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 The post will require an enhanced DBS check.
3.2 The post holder will be required to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Law, the Hospices Philosophy and in the spirit of collective responsibility, equality and diversity.
3.3 The above is indicative of the role to be carried out but may change from time to time in consultation with the post holder and in line with service need.
4.0 ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To support and be involved in fundraising activities in collaboration with the Fundraising Team as appropriate.
To ensure, in all circumstances, that you represent the Hospice in a positive light.
