Hickson Wardle Treecare, a reputable and dynamic company specialising in comprehensive tree care services, including tree surgery and tree surveys, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support operational and administrative functions. We prioritise ethical, quality service, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will ensure seamless communication, efficient scheduling, and effective management of administrative processes within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong organisational acumen, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to new enquiries via email and telephone. - Coordinate and schedule appointments for the estimator. - Maintain customer records in QuickBooks and manage the new enquiries database. - Follow up on estimates for project confirmation and business. - Manage confirmed project bookings in the company diary. - Assist in creating and maintaining office procedures and systems. - Organise and secure parking suspensions as needed. - Prepare and submit planning applications accurately and in compliance with regulations. - Conduct tender searches for new business opportunities. - Engage in proactive sales calls to expand the business portfolio, reconnect with former clients, and promote new services and projects.

Required skills:



- Proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs. - Experience with QuickBooks (beneficial) for financial and customer management. - Strong email and telephone communication skills. - Expertise in diary management, particularly using Gmail. - Efficient staff holiday request management. - Daily whereabouts report and job description compilation and distribution. - Exceptional organisational skills with simultaneous task management. - Influencing and negotiating skills, especially with clients. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong understanding of business processes and goals.

Salary and Benefits:
