Wednesday to Friday Term Time Only

Up to 22.5 hours per week - 8.30 am to 4.00 pm - 38 weeks per year

Actual Salary for 22.5 hours per week - 12,002 to 12,776 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a reliable, friendly, organised and trustworthy administrative assistant to join our existing team of wonderful staff in our Learner Reception. We're looking for a genuine team player, with a kind and empathetic approach and a willingness to go the extra mile for our school community. Responsible for dealing with all manner of issues relating to the everyday health and wellbeing of our learners, you will be required to manage and administer medication and first aid to learners whilst also liaising with parents, staff and external agencies to ensure the smooth operation and administration of the Medical Room.

Working as part of a team that includes the administration of Attendance and Reprographics, there may be times where you will be called upon to support other team members. A flexible attitude with a willingness to step in, is therefore essential.

No two days are the same in Learner Reception. If you're looking for an administrative role which directly impacts our young people and allows you to approach every aspect of your job in a kind, highly organised and pragmatic way, then this could be the role for you.

Whilst we are ideally looking for an experienced administrator with previous medical or education experience, we are willing to provide all of the necessary medical training to the right person. You will need to demonstrate the following qualities/skills



Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office Highly organised and reliable Flexible, self-motivated with a great work ethic Ability to manage the challenges that come with working with young people with patience and a smile Excellent written and verbal communication skills An understanding of Safeguarding responsibilities
This post is part of a job share arrangement and requires someone to be available to work up to 3 days a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
