Job Description

Midlothian Sure Start is a dynamic, award winning third sector organisation. It offers a quality support service to families with children up to age 12 across Midlothian. Midlothian Sure Start has been in existence since 2001 and employs over 70 members of staff providing a service in Family Learning centres and in the community. Our ethos is to provide a holistic, confidential community based service where families are at the heart of what we do.

ADMIN ASSISTANT



Part-time - 16 to 25 hours per week - Monday to Thursday

Fixed term for 6 months, Salary 12.60 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an admin assistant to provide administrative support to our centres. This will include photocopying, printing and scanning, typing up notes/minutes and general administrative duties. There will also be an opportunity to learn about Health & Safety, the coordination of maintenance and facilities. The role will be based at our Head Office in Mayfield with some travel across our 6 centres in Midlothian.

An interest in working in an office environment and an understanding of the difficulties experienced by vulnerable families and good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
