We have an opportunity within our Accounts Department and are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts & Admin Assistant to join us. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be a key player in our growing team, working alongside senior management and directors, and contributing to strategic business decisions.
The Role
In this exciting part-time role, you'll take on a variety of responsibilities that directly impact the success of our business. You'll not only ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations but also play a crucial role in managing our paper supply chain for our world-class printing operations. You'll liaise with employees across departments and provide vital support to HR.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger Management: Manage paper purchases and supplies critical to our printing operations.
Administrative Support: Arrange post, take telephone payments, handle bank runs, and maintain accurate records through scanning, filing, and data entry.
HR Assistance: Provide essential administrative support to the HR team, helping to keep employee processes running smoothly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and directors, contributing to business decisions and fostering cross-department collaboration.
Holiday Cover: Step in to provide support for the accounts team when needed.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Organised and detail-focused, with a knack for keeping everything running smoothly.
A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
Experienced in purchase ledger tasks (preferred but not essential).
Proactive and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
