Administration Officer Grade 4 at St Ignatius Catholic Primary School, part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust.

The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools. SPECIFIC SCHOOL INFORMATION

Salary details: G4 FTE salary- \xc2\xa321,575 - \xc2\xa321,968 SCP 5-6 (Salary Pro rata for Term Time Only)

Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8:00am-3.45pm. Term time only.

Closing date: Monday 24th July at noon.

Interview date: Thursday 27th July

Contract Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Officer to join our Administration Team at St Ignatius. This is a key role within the school and the successful candidate will have relevant administration and finance experience of working in a busy school environment. Under the instruction and guidance of the Senior Administrator, you will provide general administrative and financial support to the school.

Key duties will include:
  • undertaking reception duties, answering general telephone and face to face queries and signing in visitors
  • maintaining manual and computerised records/management information systems, and produce data and information as required
  • operating relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. word, excel, databases, spreadsheets, Internet)
  • Assisting in the collection, recording and banking of money in relation to school activities
  • Undertaking general financial administration e.g.processing orders, recording and collating information.
  • providing an effective, efficient and confidential reception and administrative service to the school
  • Maintain stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required.
