The Role
We're looking for a capable and enthusiastic
Accounts Administration & Sales Assistant
to join our operations office in South West London.
This is a varied role combining customer service, accounts admin, and general office coordination. You'll be the go-to person for keeping things moving behind the scenes. From managing bookings and invoicing to supporting the Director with project tasks and helping the team stay on top of daily planning.
Key Responsibilities
Handling bookings and service enquiries via phone and email
Liaising with customers about job details and schedules
Assisting with daily operations planning and calendar updates
Invoicing for all jobs using QuickBooks (training provided)
Communicating with the accounts team to ensure timely payment processing and other general finance tasks.
Chasing outstanding payments and following up with debtors
Managing business storage accounts and issuing monthly invoices
Booking parking suspensions, and scheduling third-party contractors (cleaners, electricians, handymen)
Paying fines, logging records, ordering office supplies and equipment
Updating records and digital files to ensure accuracy
Supporting the Director on small projects and ad-hoc admin
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in office administration or customer support
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong phone manner with a polite, confident approach
Solid computer skills - Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Highly organised with an eye for detail
Strong time management and multitasking ability
Proactive, dependable, and solution-oriented
Bonus (but not essential):
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage or similar accounting software
Familiarity with removals, logistics, or service-based businesses
