We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrative & Support Assistant to assist with a variety of administrative, operational, and communications tasks. The role includes managing office duties, maintaining records in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), assisting with social media, processing test orders, and supporting the CEO and the Board. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative and secretarial support (email, phone, process payments, routine office tasks) using office equipment such as printers, scanners, photocopiers, laminator and shredder
Maintain and update CRM records (members, volunteers, and GDPR compliance).
Manage test orders, handle inquiries, and track results.
Amend and update various documents as required and align to our document review database
Assist CEO in recruiting new volunteers and trustees
Update and maintain our DBS/safeguarding/GDPR register in line with staff, trustees' and volunteers' training regime
Order new merchandise for our shop, including updating order form and website and sending out to our beneficiaries, partners and stakeholders
Post content onto our forum
Support the CEO with board meetings, webinars and surveys.
Proofreading various documents/articles
Process merchandise orders, stock, and quarterly inventory including Information Pack
Assist CEO with member magazine production and mailing.
Update and maintain website content, ensuring accurate information.
Assisting with fundraising events
Making refreshments
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Experience with CRM and general office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Good typing skills with a good level of accuracy
Attention to detail, confidentiality, and GDPR compliance.
Prior experience in administration or office support is preferred.
