Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to consistently process invoices, receipts, vat returns and general admin on a monthly basis.

Manage accounts and records using Xero and our in house booking system to ensure all invoices, payments and receipts are kept up to date.

Support the team in other administrative tasks such as ordering stock, responding to inquiries and arranging meetings or interviews.

Must possess excellent time management, self motivation and organisational skills as this role will be working remotely from home with own laptop/computer and phone.

Outcomes:

1. Ensure all payroll and invoices are paid on time and processed correctly.



a. Good organisation skills when issuing deadline reminder, processing payments to staff and reconciling payments in Xero.

b. Eye for details when checking invoices to ensure no inaccuracies.

c. Efficient in ensuring correct taxes, N.I contributions and pension contributions are paid to HMRC on time.

2. Issue client invoices and chase payments to avoid any missed deadlines.



a. Good organisation and communication skills when communicating with clients.

c. Able to deal with any arising issues decisively and implement solutions.

3. Consistently accurate.

3. Support the wider team with general administration.



a. Good customer service responding to inquiries and new leads.

b. Order and restock supplies as instructed by Operations Manager.

c. Support recruitment processes by arranging interviews, processing applications and taking notes.

You will be based remotely working from home (excluding any on site training or team days) with your own laptop/computer and phone. Contracted 8 hours a month, the hours & days may be flexible subject to deadlines and core responsibilities being met. This role would suit anyone seeking additional work in the area of administration, bookkeeping or accountancy alongside other similar work, training/learning or an experienced professional seeking reduced commitment whether alongside retirement or family commitments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
