Administrative Assistant - Infrastructure - Cheltenham
Location - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (M5 J10)
Purpose of the role:
Galliford Try have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Administrative Assistant based in Cheltenham to support the team on our new 250m M5 J10 Improvements Scheme.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major infrastructure project that will make a real difference to the region. You'll play a key role in keeping the project running smoothly, handling a variety of administrative tasks and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities -
You will:
Provide administrative support including typing, preparing meeting minutes, letters, reports, and handling printing, copying, and post distribution
Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate refreshments; provide reception cover when required
Support new starter onboarding by issuing security passes, updating registers, and ordering business cards
Monitor and maintain stationery supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate
Assist with invoice checking and authorisation, resolving any related queries
Maintain electronic records and archives, support training data input for CITB claims
About You -
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail
Organised and able to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Holds GCSE/National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
