Overview
We are seeking a hard-working and good-natured administrative assistant for our busy Hamilton office.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organisational skills. You will play a crucial role in office and telephone reception, appointment scheduling, data management and assisting in all aspects of the work carried out by the firm.
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and legal team using our case management system.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
3. Manage calendars and schedule appointments.
4. Prepare documents and correspondence with accuracy.
5. Maintain an organised filing system.
6. Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional integrity at all times.
Experience
1. Proficiency in IT applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
2. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills.
4. Previous experience in a legal setting is advantageous but not essential.
