Job Summary


Crown Flooring is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant who is enthusiastic and reliable to join a small team in our fast paced Hamilton office to support our sales and operations teams.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth administrative processes, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to contribute to a professional and dynamic environment.

Role & Responsibilities



The role will comprise of:

Answering the phone and dealing with the enquiry; Dealing with incoming mail and email - allocating locally or forwarding to head office as required; Being the face of the business in our office at all times; Administration support for the sales & operations team; Raising purchase orders and ordering materials, office consumables, workwear or services from suppliers for field personnel & specific ongoing projects; System goods in receipt and GRN note processing; Inputting data from timesheets and allocation sheets onto our systems; Reconciling credit card statements with receipts; Completing paperwork for Disclosure Scotland applications; Additional contract support during busy school times; contract monthly completions support; General office admin, photocopying, scanning etc.

Requirements



Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional setting Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills Demonstrated clerical skills including filing, record keeping, and document management Experience and expertise in administration and a customer facing role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Have a can-do attitude, able to work with limited supervision under pressure. Attention to detail.
