We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant (Integrated Transport Unit) at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Tredomen House
Team: Transportation Engineering Group
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.
We pay an attractive salary of 26,403 - 28,142 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our Home to School Transport team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to the Integrated Transport Unit to ensure the smooth running of transport arrangements for pupils across the borough. You will work closely with transport providers, schools, parents, and internal departments, helping to coordinate safe and efficient travel solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and has strong communication skills.
For the role, we ask that you have:

  • 5 GSCEs Grade A*-C or a relevant Level 2 qualification.
  • Geographical knowledge of the county borough.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment in an administration role.
