We are looking for someone to join the team for 20hrs per week plus additional cover when required.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide information to patients and medical professionals
- Assist with insurance report and medical record requests
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
-Scanning and coding of medical letters and records on to clinical system
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
Qualifications:
-Preferred experience in an office or administrative role
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Emis Web
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
As a Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare providers, coordinating patient appointments, maintaining patient records, summarizing patient records and ensuring a positive experience for all patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
