We are seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team to cover maternity leave with the possibility to become permanent for the right candidate. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have office skills, proficiency with computer applications, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities



Greet visitors and clients at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and sage Support office management tasks including supply ordering and mail handling Provide customer support via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent service standards Maintain organisation of office files, documents, and correspondence in both digital and physical formats Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication

Skills



Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills; experience as a receptionist or front desk clerk preferred Strong typing skills with high accuracy; data entry experience is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills Experience with office management systems, calendar management, and filing procedures
This role is integral to maintaining an organized office environment while delivering outstanding support to clients and staff alike. We value candidates who demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive approach to their work.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
