St Ignatius Catholic Primary School, Ossett, are seeking a highly organised and efficient School Office Administrator to join our team to support our children, families and staff from our school office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include managing the reception area, providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership team and School Business Manager, and assisting with school events.

Responsibilities include:
Serving as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a welcoming and helpful presence
Answering phone calls and responding to emails, taking messages, and directing inquiries appropriately
Monitoring and managing the booking system for wraparound care
Supporting with school admissions processes and record-keeping
Using the school's Management Information System (MIS) to manage student data and track attendance
Finance admin and the use of online payment systems
Serving as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and students, providing a welcoming and helpful presence
Answering phone calls and responding to emails, taking messages, and directing inquiries appropriately
The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic, highly motivated, hardworking, and committed to supporting parents and staff with day to day administrative duties
Have excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to working as part of a team
Have strong organisational and communication skills, proficiency in office software, and experience with school-specific finance & MIS systems
