Job Purpose



Hours: 8:30-5



As an Administrator, you will be integral to attracting and enrolling prospective students while supporting the institution's marketing efforts. Reporting to the Admissions Manager, your role will involve utilising your core skills in communication and organisation to streamline the admissions process. Your contributions will enhance the institution's visibility and enrolment goals, making you a vital part of our team dedicated to fostering SEN education.

Admissions & Marketing



Developing a marketing and media strategy to promote the schools' programs and attract prospective pupils. To manage online advertising, social media and email campaigns to increase visibility and engagement. To create marketing materials, including brochures, websites, videos and other promotional content. To organise events such as open evenings to showcase the schools' offerings. To collaborate with the Admissions Manager and admissions team to drive pupil recruitment efforts and achieve enrolment targets. To ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials and platforms. To monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions for improvements. To ensure that campaigns are budgeted for ensuring the most efficient use of finances. Cultivate relationships with industry professionals, alumni and potential partners to enhance the schools' reputation and networking opportunities. Keep staff informed about marketing initiatives and progress. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth. To prepare reports on marketing performance and present findings to Executive team. To manage the company website and ensure it remains up to date.

Communication & Admin



Take calls directed to the office and direct enquiries appropriately. Work with the Admissions Manager in delivering accurate administrative support. Establish good relationships with staff, students and the wider Odyssey group. Ensure all databases are up to date and work with the school administrators to support this. Support group in organising events and coordinating with external agencies. Support the SLT in confidential administrative functions. Arrange repairs and servicing of office equipment. Ensure good stocks of office and educational stationery, building supplies and cleaning products, reordering when necessary and ensure safe storage of goods. Order and provide hospitality services as required. Process admission enquiries and paperwork as required for SLT. To assist in welcoming new students to the school, including providing them with all the information (handbooks and any other relevant documentation). To use all school software packages including SharePoint and ISAMS. Demonstrate sensitivity, confidentiality and discretion at all times. Liaise with the School Administrators to share best practice. Ensure all relevant information for the website is sent through.

Finance



Answer financial services related queries diverted through the office Advise senior staff on the process for ordering goods and services Bank all cash/cheques paid to the school promptly Assist the Business Director with producing financial information reports Maintain finance records for all monies collected relating to fundraising days etc. and record all such transactions on the school accounts Support the Business Director with the provision of information to external agencies e.g. HMRC, auditors and insurers Support the Business Director and schools with the administration of company Revolut cards, insurance claims and collecting insurance renewal data.

Qualifications & Requirements



GCSE Grade 4 English and Maths Further evidence of study (desirable) Strong organizational and administrative skills (as well as finance) Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) Proficiency in marketing strategies and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of confidentiality Experience in admissions processes and student engagement (desirable) Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Familiarity with educational environments and SEN (desirable)
