Here at Basil Fry (part of the Jensten Group), we are seeking an Insurance Administrator, to join our friendly and Client focused Commercial team.


Since the company was founded in 1970, Basil Fry has developed an in-depth knowledge of the removals and storage and self storage industries. During over fifty years of trading, our expertise has enabled us to create a broad range of specialist insurance solutions, in-house claims teams and market-leading risk management services.


Our Insurance Administrator position is a brand new and key role that focusses on providing the day-to-day administrative support to Account Handlers and Management.


This role could suit someone who is either keen to establish a career as a professional administrator, or someone looking to grow a rewarding insurance broking career.


Working in a team of approx. 20, and a wider office of 45, you will be based in our Modern Leatherhead office, which is in easy walking distance from the station and bus routes. This role will be based in office 5 days a week.

Key objectives & responsibilities will include:



Provide general administrative support to broking and account handling teams (e.g., data entry, diary management, scanning/filing). Answering all incoming calls promptly and professionally Providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate department Support the credit control process by monitoring outstanding premiums, issuing statements, and liaising with clients to ensure timely payment Ordering stationery and office supplies Maintain accurate records of client and policy data in line with regulatory and company standards

About You




As an Insurance Administrator, you will need to have strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills. You will also need to have a good telephone manner and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels.


Other skills/requirements:

A good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Good level of written and verbal communication skills Good diary /workload management skills The desire to provide an efficient administrative service to your colleagues and customers
