Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires strong clerical skills, excellent phone etiquette, and proficiency in data entry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using various software applications, including QuickBooks and Google Suite, to manage office tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities



Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary. Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly, maintaining up-to-date records. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as required. Manage office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure availability. Organise and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of information. Collaborate with team members to support various projects and initiatives. Utilise QuickBooks for basic financial record keeping and invoicing tasks. Ensure the office environment is tidy and welcoming for both staff and visitors.

Requirements



Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Competence in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for document creation and management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.

Pay: 13.40-14.40 per hour
