Priory Caerlan is looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team. This is a part time role of 20 hours.
Caerlan is located in Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynnon Taff, South Wales. Our home offers residential support for eight males and females who are autistic. The house is surrounded by countryside, a short distance from the town centre.
What you'll be doing
You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents. While your role doesn't involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.Provides efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the home, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input, dealing with service user's monies, petty cash, recruitment processes, meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
Updates staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.

What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, with strong English, numeracy, and excellent keyboard and PC skills, including basic proficiency in Word and Excel. They will have exceptional organisational, reception, and clerical abilities, with the confidence to prioritise their own work while referring complex issues to a manager. A flexible approach to problem solving is important, and previous experience in an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational, or similar setting is required.
