Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Admissions Officer to join our educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the student admissions process, providing guidance to prospective students, and ensuring a smooth enrolment experience. A background in teaching or educational settings is advantageous, as it enhances understanding of our programmes and student needs.

Duties

Greet and assist prospective students and their families with enquiries regarding courses and programmes Provide detailed information about admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines Review applications and supporting documents to determine eligibility Conduct interviews or assessments with prospective students as required Maintain accurate records of all admissions activities within the student management system Collaborate with academic staff to ensure seamless onboarding of new students Organise open days, campus tours, and information sessions to promote the institution's offerings Follow up with applicants throughout the admission process to ensure timely completion of all steps Support students during enrolment, including guiding them through registration procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience in an educational environment, ideally with a background in teaching or student support roles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with prospective students and colleagues Organised with strong attention to detail when managing applications and documentation Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a collaborative approach within a team Proficiency in using student management systems or related software is desirable A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Pay: 24,800.00-36,859.91 per year
