About the role
The Admissions and Enrolment Manager plays a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient and applicant-focused admissions service, working closely with the Deputy Head of Admissions to ensure processes are compliant, streamlined and continuously improving.
As the visible admissions lead at HSU's London campus, you will oversee performance, manage admissions systems, drive process improvements, line-manage the London Admissions & Enrolment Administrator, provide frontline support, and lead on enrolment and induction activity. You will also hold operational responsibility for international admissions for the Health Business School, prepare admissions reports for academic schools and senior teams, represent Admissions at internal and external events, and deputise for senior colleagues as needed.
You will also use your expertise to resolve non-routine admissions scenarios and will draw upon your knowledge and data sources to drive process improvements and contribute to operational and strategic planning.
The role is varied and rewarding, with some flexibility required during peak periods. This role is based at our London campus, but hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate.
About the person
You will be an experienced admissions professional with a strong understanding of domestic and international admissions and the UK higher education landscape. Confident, organised and proactive, you will bring excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage complex queries with professionalism and care.
You will be able to drive performance and maintain high service standards in others, but should also be comfortable performing day-to-day tasks, working collaboratively as part of a small and committed team to deliver an outstanding experience for applicants and colleagues alike.
You will be skilled at managing competing priorities and working at pace while maintaining an excellent eye for detail and should be comfortable using data and generating reports.
