We are currently recruiting for three Admissions Coordinators.




The Admissions Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring that applicants receive a smooth, timely and bespoke service within the curriculum areas and Faculties that they support. The role monitors and coordinates the admissions journey, ensuring that high quality contact is made with applicants, providing relevant information and access to pre-enrolment/transition services appropriate to the applicant and their needs. Post-holders will require strong organisational skills and a commitment to inclusion, making sure every applicant receives an outstanding service in transitioning into college.

Key Responsibilities





Coordinate the day-to-day analysis and tailored admissions service provided to applicants and enquiries. Coordinate points of contact for prospective students and their families, providing guidance on college facilities, services, courses and entry requirements. Coordinate admissions-related logistics with curriculum teams, Heads of School, and Directors of Faculty. Work closely with the Business Support Admissions Team to align workflows, evaluate processes and resolve issues. Manage the delivery of recruitment and enrolment events, ensuring a welcoming and tailored applicant experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using admissions systems and CRM tools. Work closely with Marketing and Communications and Business Development and Employer Engagement Teams to continually review and improve messaging and activities engaging with prospective students and their families, and key businesses and stakeholders. Coordinate and be responsible for the transition from application to enrolment, liaising with Student Services and Student Progress Teams as necessary. Ensure compliance with admissions and eligibility policies and funding requirements. Troubleshoot application issues and escalate as appropriate to the Head of Student Recruitment and Admissions, or Head of Business Support, as required. Provide high-quality customer service, embodying the college's values of accessibility and inclusion. Contribute to continuous improvement in admissions processes.

To take a proactive approach and responsibility for personal professional development, Health & Safety, and meeting other regulatory compliance (e.g. GDPR, Safeguarding), thereby enabling safe and professional working practices to be observed at all times. To support cross college actives as required, particularly during key enrolment and invigilation periods. Carry out any other relevant and appropriate duties as determined by the needs of the service and as appropriate to the grade.
Due to the changing nature of our work, this role profile serves as a framework to outline the main areas of responsibility. You may be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within the remit of your area of work.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Essential

Ability and desire to work innovatively and flexibly in a dynamic and aspirational admissions environment. Exceptional organisational ability with strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Competence with admissions systems, CRMs, and Microsoft Office. Ability to resolve issues independently and escalate as needed. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality with applicant data. Knowledge of, and commitment to, an inclusive approach to applications and applicants. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during peak periods.
