Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Adult ADHD Assessor Prescriber to join our innovative Digital ADHD Service. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments for adults experiencing symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and providing appropriate prescribing interventions. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering accessible, high-quality mental health care through our digital platform, ensuring timely diagnosis and personalised treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities



Conduct thorough virtual assessments of adults presenting with ADHD symptoms, including detailed clinical interviews and utilisation of validated assessment tools. Develop personalised treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, considering individual needs and preferences. Prescribe appropriate medication and monitor treatment efficacy, side effects, and adherence in accordance with clinical guidelines. Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records in compliance with data protection regulations. Provide ongoing support and advice to patients regarding medication management and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care and continuous service improvement. Stay informed about the latest developments in ADHD research, assessment techniques, and prescribing practices to maintain professional competence.

Skills



Qualified Clinician (e.g., Pharmacist, Nurse Prescriber) with registration with the appropriate regulatory body. Proven experience in adult mental health assessment, particularly in diagnosing ADHD or related neurodevelopmental conditions. Strong knowledge of current clinical guidelines for ADHD diagnosis and pharmacological management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients via digital platforms. Competent in using electronic health record systems and telehealth technology. Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Organised, detail-oriented, with excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills. Pay: 100.00 per hour
