We are seeking individuals to help run our sessions and support our members. Ideally you may have a background in working with adults with disabilities, and perhaps have some hidden talents or skills that can be used to run some sessions....

Do you love nature, and would like to share this knowledge, teaching members.
Do you have a skill at furniture restoration and might like to share these while restoring amazing projects.
Are you green fingered and keen to grow your own, or even build a collection of cut flowers....?
We would welcome all your skills if you are able to share these with our members whilst supporting them to have a great day. Perhaps you are a dab hand in the kitchen and can teach our members cookery skills? Perhaps you used to teach and can support our members who choose to take ASDAN qualifications.

Whatever you think you can bring to the role, a smiling face, happy demeanor and a great energy is an absolute must, our locations are like home from home and the atmosphere our team create is second to none.
Key duties for this role include:
Generate a monthly activity plan and run sessions - this is where your own individual skills can really help bring our activities to life, love sewing run a sewing session, great at furniture restoration wonderful let's get some furniture to restore!
On a day where you aren't running the session then you will be required to support the other members of the team in delivering their plans, helping to deliver an outstanding atmosphere for all who come through our doors.
Ensuring our members are supported to have fun and inclusive days at James' Place is the key requirement of this role. You will be required to join in team duties such as tea and coffee, lunch breaks and personal care.
It this sounds like a role you'd be interested in then please get in touch, we are looking for people to work Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm throughout the week. (minimum of 7 hours, maximum of 35).
Please note the advertised annual salary is based on a 40 hours a week role, and will be paid on a pro-rata basis for the hours worked in a week.
Our normal working hours are 9am to 4pm, we do not open on weekends or require evening work.
