Role Overview:
As an Adult Teaching Assistant, you will provide person-centred support and care to clients, enabling them to fully benefit from our provisions.
You will:
Support development and learning through the 'Skills Tank' Provision
Assist the Hub Manager in delivering fun, educational activities
Provide clear feedback on each learner's progress
Ensure all activities adhere to Health & Safety and fire regulations
Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills
Knowledge & Experience:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role
Experience supporting adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and mental health needs
Experience managing challenging behaviour
Desirable
: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Adults), knowledge of autism and mental health
Commitment to ongoing professional development
