Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – Medicines Information & Women’s Health
Job Description
Be responsible for provision of the MI service at LWH, including: Provision of information and advice to healthcare professionals to aid clinical problem-solving in the form of answers to formal enquiries, active provision of news/updates and formal teaching. Ensuring the availability of up-to-date relevant information on medicines to support medicines management in the hospital. Provision of MI training to colleagues within the Pharmacy Department. To maintain links and develop a collaborative service with other MI centres in the UHLG.
Provide advanced pharmaceutical information to LWH staff and patients within the area of Womens Health. Act as an independent prescriber in accordance with the Trusts Non-Medical Prescribers policies and guidelines (once registered as a non-medical prescriber). Lead on clinical audit within MI and partake in clinical audit within the wider Pharmacy Department. Contribution to staff education.
