Thirsk Community Primary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated practitioner to join us full time. Key Responsibilities





Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured learning activities that meet the needs of all pupils.

Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress, adapting learning to respond to individual strengths and needs.

Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential.

Collaborate actively within the Early Years team to develop and implement strategies that support all learners.

Promote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting our vision and values through teamwork and community engagement.

Required Qualifications and Experience





Relevant Level three qualification

Proven ability to adapt teaching and learning to meet diverse learning needs.

Experience or willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable Qualities





A compassionate and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.

Commitment to professional growth and contributing to school improvement.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
