To support Creams Cafe Edgware by planning and delivering creative marketing campaigns that increase customer footfall, drive online orders, and showcase our desserts and dining experience to the local community. The role will focus on growing brand awareness within Edgware and surrounding areas, building customer loyalty, and ensuring that all promotions reflect Creams Cafe's vibrant and welcoming brand.
Key Responsibilities
Local Campaigns:
Assist with the design and rollout of local marketing initiatives tailored to Edgware customers (promotions, seasonal specials, student offers, family events).
Digital Marketing:
Manage social media pages for Creams Cafe Edgware, creating engaging content (photos, videos, stories) that highlight new desserts, offers, and in-store experiences.
Community Engagement:
Build relationships with local schools, colleges, businesses, and community groups to promote partnerships and events.
Customer Interaction:
Monitor and respond to online customer reviews, messages, and comments to maintain a positive brand image.
In-Store Promotions:
Coordinate with cafe staff to ensure posters, menus, and digital screens reflect current campaigns.
Market Awareness:
Keep track of local competitors, customer preferences, and dessert/food trends to shape marketing activity.
Performance Tracking:
Measure the success of campaigns (sales increase, social media reach, customer engagement) and prepare monthly reports.
Event Support:
Assist in planning and promoting in-store events, such as product launches, themed evenings, or community days.
Brand Standards:
Ensure all marketing output follows Creams Cafe's national brand guidelines while keeping a localised flavour for Edgware.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualification in Marketing, Business, Media, or relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
Creativity and eye for detail in content creation (photo/video editing skills desirable).
Strong communication skills for engaging with local customers and businesses.
Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering great customer experiences.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or customer engagement (hospitality or retail sector preferred).
Previous experience managing social media for a business is an advantage.
Knowledge of the Edgware area and customer base is desirable.
Working Conditions
Based at
Creams Cafe - Edgware
with occasional local travel for community engagement.
Full-time role with flexibility for evenings/weekends when events or promotions require.
Collaborative role, working closely with the Cafe Manager and staff team.
