to work alongside our friendly team.
Working at our new purpose built premises, Hymers Avenue, Hull, you will help provide a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 3 to 7 years by planning and delivery creative and fun play activities.
With an approved Level 3 Playwork or Childcare qualification, you will also need an abundance of energy to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children.

Responsibilities
To help provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment for children aged 3 - 7 years.
To plan and deliver safe, creative, appropriate play activities.
Actively prepare a varied programme of activities appropriate to the needs, desires, and abilities of the children.
To consult with children to identify their needs and to enable them to make informed choices.
Respond to the individual needs of children and establish professional and friendly relationships with each child and their families/carers.
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the After School Club including daily registers.
To undertake further training activities that are relevant to the role.
Help with movement to/from and supervision of children during other activities that take place after school.
Assist with the preparation and/or distribution of drinks and snacks.
Take part in the cleaning and tidying of the play setting and assist with the safe storage of equipment, checking that play equipment is maintained in good clean safe condition.
To be familiar with relevant policies and procedures and to take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the children and young people in school.
Ensure that records of accidents are kept, and health and safety issues are dealt with appropriately. Follow correct procedures for the administration of first aid.
Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Head of current Hymers Hessle Mount.
