Job Title: After School Club Assistant

Location: Stoke Row Primary, School Lane, Stoke Row, RG9 5QS

Contract: Fixed term - 12 hours per week during term time15.00 pm- 18.00 pm. Monday to Thursday

Pay: G3 12.85 per hour + holiday pay

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist in the running of our after school club who is able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and will be invested in delivering a high quality and enjoyable club to children of Stoke Row School.

About the Role



Working with volunteer/casual helpers Ensure our children are safe and happy in the club Assist Leader to ensure there are adequate activities to engage the children Supervision and care of children and safe delivery to parents for pick up Providing a snack and drink and ensuring the area is left clean and tidy

About You



Attributes of After School Club Assistant that we are looking for:

Are you easily approachable and can communicate and engage with people? Do you want to inspire the next generation? We need someone to help provide fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests. Are you organised and enthusiastic? You would assist the planning, supervision and delivery of planned activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range from multi sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play. Are you proactive, responsible and able to follow procedures? The children in our care are our responsibility and we have protocols and policies we need to follow. Do you have bundles of energy, excitement, enthusiasm, and want to make a difference every day, while getting paid? We want someone who is warm, honest and genuine and wants to create new experiences for our children. Are you willing to undertake a 2 day first aid course, an online food hygiene course and online Level 3 Safeguarding?
