After School Club Playworker

(Early Years L3 qualified or commitment to qualify)

Salary information

: Scale 2, 8,903 - 9,031 per annum (depending on experience)

Work pattern

: 13 hours and 45 minutes per week, Term time only (38 weeks)

Work hours

: Monday - Friday, 3pm - 5:45pm

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and caring playworker who have:


A positive, warm, enthusiastic, kind and energetic attitude; The ability to work and play creatively with the children; The ability to work as part of a team; The ability to use judgement and common sense; The ability to liaise with parents and carers with sensitivity and tact.

Principal Duties:


To provide high standards of care in a safe and secure setting; Assist in planning, preparing and providing creative and fun play opportunities for children aged 3 to 7; Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children including those with additional needs; Carry out all responsibilities and activities within an equal opportunities framework; Work within agreed policies and procedures.
