We are looking for bright, engaging and creative people to present after school maths clubs to primary aged children in Leeds. Initially you MUST be available to work on

Tuesday from 3:15-4:30pm from January 6th - March 27th.

The ideal candidate will also be available

Mondays

and

Wednesdays

at the same time.

After school club presenter hours: 1-3 per week

We currently have vacancies starting January. Applicants MUST be available Tuesdays between 3 and 4:30pm. Availability on other Mondays and Wednesdays would also be good. The work is flexible but there is a minimum 6week commitment at a time, and work available all year in-line with school terms. Applicants need be able to travel easily to schools in and around both North and South Leeds. A car is useful. The after school clubs pay a generous salary of 20 - 25 per hour.

You must be comfortable around children and with basic (primary school) maths. Full training will be provided.

This role is suited to those with experience with children. This could be in a play, sports or school environment. It is suitable to anyone wishing to enhance their experience working with children, or those considering this as a career path. Many students have been very successful in this role alongside their studies.

The right candidate will:

- enjoy working with children

- have previous experience working with children (this is ESSENTIAL)

- be 100% punctual and reliable

- be able to run an after school club and with enthusiasm

- be able to travel around Leeds easily (ideally have a car as many of our schools are rural)

- be happy working flexible hours

- have a clear DBS check on the update system (or be willing to get one)

- have a minimum of a Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English
