Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game, along with the ability to inspire and develop players of all skill levels. This role involves not only coaching but also teaching essential life skills through the sport, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
This role is working on Friday afternoons.

Duties

Plan and conduct training sessions that enhance players' skills and fitness levels. Develop game strategies and tactics to improve team performance. Provide constructive feedback to players to facilitate their growth and development. Monitor player progress and maintain records of performance. Foster a positive team environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff regarding team goals and individual development plans. Ensure adherence to safety protocols during training and matches.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, with a strong understanding of the game's rules and strategies. Teaching skills that enable effective communication of techniques and concepts to players of varying abilities. Strong leadership qualities that motivate and inspire players to achieve their best. Excellent organisational skills to plan training sessions, manage schedules, and coordinate team activities. Ability to assess player performance and provide tailored feedback for improvement. A commitment to promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect within the team environment.
