Job Description
Spaghetti Maths is a pioneering business growing in Primary schools throughout London . An exploratory based Mathematics program with a focus on enabling young learners to use their investigative skills to build their mathematical understanding. Each session allows them to create a finished product to take home. Owing to its increasing success, we are recruiting new session presenters to deliver our expanding number of clubs.
This will be a part-time position running 2 or 3 one hour clubs per week during school term time only.
Clubs run immediately after school the school day ends for one hour. Therefore you will need to be available from 3pm on the days you wish to work.
We will pay 35 per session for the right candidate.
The suitable candidate will be:
Able to build successful relationships with children
Outgoing and enthusiastic
Have strong interest in Mathematics but no formal qualifications necessary.
Training will be provided in the form of shadowing in schools for which 20 per session will be paid
Successful candidates will need to prove they have the right to work in the UK
Have a clean enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this)
Provide two references
1 year experience with primary aged children

No formal teaching qualification necessary.
