Honda of Bournemouth is looking for an experienced Aftersales Advisor to join our busy and customer-focused team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the motor trade (car or motorcycle) who understands the importance of excellent customer service and strong internal communication.
You will play a key role in supporting customers after purchase, coordinating with the service department and service technicians, and assisting with parts and accessories enquiries, ensuring a smooth and professional aftersales experience.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a main point of contact for customers regarding aftersales queries
Liaise closely with the service department and service technicians to ensure work is scheduled and completed efficiently
Assist customers with parts and accessories enquiries, availability, and ordering
Ensure accurate job cards, invoices, and aftersales documentation
Provide clear updates to customers on service progress and timescales
Handle warranty queries and aftersales issues professionally
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction in line with Honda brand values
Support the wider dealership team as required
Key Requirements
Previous experience in the motor trade (car or motorcycle) - essential
Strong understanding of aftersales processes within a dealership environment
Experience dealing with service departments and technicians
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment
IT literate (dealer management systems experience desirable)
Desirable Skills & Experience
Knowledge of Honda vehicles or motorcycles
Experience with parts and accessories sales
Previous Aftersales Advisor or Service Advisor experience
A proactive and team-focused attitude
