Information Services Division (ISD) is the primary provider of IT services to UCL. We support and enhance learning, teaching, research and administrative processes by providing information- and technology-related services to over 50,000 staff and students of UCL and associated institutions.

About the role
------------------
Located within UCL's, Information Services Division (ISD), and working in collaboration UCL Estates Division, the Agile Delivery Manager will working within the Digital Campus Portfolio.
The secondment for the Agile Delivery Manager will be responsible managing the
Estates Management Product Team
that underpins UCL's operational infrastructure through the delivery and maintenance of critical digital systems, including:
StarRez - Student accommodation management
Gallagher - Building access and security management
Springshare LibCal - desk and appointment booking platform
SendSuite - Campus postal delivery and logistics automation
MySupporters - Fundraising, Supporter, and Alumni management
Student Psychological Services (SPS) - Counselling requests, booking, appointment, and records management.
iLockers - Intelligent locker service., Network and third-party
These systems are vital to the university's daily operations, directly impacting student experience and campus security.
The ADM secondment is crucial to ensuring these systems remain secure, efficient, and aligned with UCL's strategic objectives, while new initiatives/systems (like Building Management Systems) are smoothly onboarded.
The ADM will:
Coordinate upgrades and enhancements, ensuring robust and compliant security infrastructure.
Oversee timely application of security patches and system updates, supporting regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Contribute to the delivery of the Estates 2050 Vision and Digital Campus roadmap, supporting API integrations for initiatives like Space Utilisation, Common Data Environment, and AV Teaching Spaces.
Work with Portfolio Service Lead to optimise service management by refining workflows and knowledge management within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) framework.
Coordinate work on the onboarding of new services into the Estates Management support sphere.
Embed agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence across Estates digital services.
You will also be required to manage risks and issues through facilitating the team to manage any problems and agree solutions that are then planned into sprints.
Proactively manage the finances to ensure that financial actuals and forecasts are maintained and regularly reviewed.
You will also be required to oversee the delivery of the upgrades for application listed above to ensure all work is being carried out as per the designs agreed with the subject matter experts.
About you

The candidate is required to have demonstratable experience of having worked in an Agile Delivery Manager role.
The successful candidate will have good communication, forward planning and risk management skills. With proven experience of managing stakeholder expectations across the organisation.
Good stakeholder management skills are essential with the ability to proactively work across multiple teams across the organisation, ensuring that requirements are translated into narratives and designs, agreed forward plans that are transposed into Agile stories to support the delivery of the work during Termly Increments (TI), ensuring they are on time and within budget.
This role requires an ambitious person that wants to progress their career at UCL. You will be supported and mentored by subject matter experts and senior management, and will receive training in the SAFe Agile Framework in order to further your career at UCL.
