Are you looking for a role in a friendly brewhouse, bar and all-day dining space in East London?

Within a expanding independent East London pub co, Empire Tavern is the brand new joint venture between East London Brewing Co. and Taverns East Pub Group.

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager / Restaurant Supervisor to take on the responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the bar and restaurant during service, as well as assist in the day to day duty manager tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing exemplary customer service, managing day to day bookings and monitoring staff performance. The successful candidates will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed and that the back of house areas are kept clean and organized. The ideal candidates should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experience.

What we're looking for:

Supervising experience in a hospitality setting Team management skills with a focus on leading culinary and service teams Restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in food service operations Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Great hosting and customer service skills Experience in stock management and controls A genuine interest in guest experience and all things food & drink Good knowledge of craft beer, wine, cocktails, coffee Unrelenting positive attitude
