The Role

We are seeking a dedicated

Groundcare Mower Mechanic/ Agricultural engineer

to carry out reconditioning, servicing and repairs on a range of commercial mowers. This is a

mostly workshop-based

role but also includes some on site work. Excellent conditions with all the necessary tools and equipment to get the job done efficiently in a friendly family business environment

Key Responsibilities

Reconditioning Machinery to high standards - in house training provided Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of professional groundcare machines Carry out servicing and maintenance Work to a high standard to ensure reliability and performance of equipment Keep accurate records of work carried out Occasionally attend on-site jobs when required

What we expect

An honest, and reliable individual with a good work ethic Experience working with professional groundcare machinery or tractors - other skills PCV, Forklift, Plant mechanic are acceptable alternatives Good knowledge of

Ransomes, John Deere, Kubota, Hayter, Trimax

or similar brands would be preferred but in house training will be provided Ability to work independently and as part of a team A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop new skills relevant mechanical experience required problem solving skills - esp mechanical skills relevant to the work basic auto electrical fault finding skills - relays switches - continuity testing etc
