Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in various repair and maintenance tasks. This role involves working with a variety of equipment, including excavators and forklifts and tractors to ensure optimal performance and safety. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on machinery and equipment Perform repairs and maintenance on various mechanical systems Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for fabrication tasks Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues Assemble components and ensure proper functioning of equipment Execute heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance activities Maintain a clean and safe working environment Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients

Skills

Proficient in fabrication, soldering, welding, and assembly techniques Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair Familiarity with operating excavators and forklifts safely Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective customer interactions Capability to perform heavy lifting as necessary Willing to learn

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 36,630.00-61,955.12 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 60 per week
