Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Prompt Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimising prompts for various applications, ensuring that they effectively communicate with users and enhance overall user experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and application development, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and refine prompts for user interactions across various platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into effective prompt solutions. Develop and maintain software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, and SQL. Utilise version control systems like GitHub and SVN to manage codebase effectively. Work with APIs to integrate prompt functionalities into existing systems. Conduct testing and debugging of prompt implementations to ensure high-quality performance. Engage in front-end development tasks to enhance user interfaces related to prompts. Leverage cloud services such as AWS and Azure for application deployment and management. Maintain documentation of prompt development processes and updates.

Requirements

Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, SQL, and VBA. Strong understanding of software development principles and application development methodologies. Experience with front-end development technologies and frameworks. Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL. Knowledge of RESTful services and API integration practices. Competence in using version control systems like Git and SVN. Experience working in Linux environments is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively.
