Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer - Chelmsford, Essex

An opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a respected Air Conditioning and Refrigeration company based in Chelmsford, Essex. Established over 27 years ago, we provide design & installation, routine maintenance, repairs and modifications services to a range of clients within the Essex, London and Home Counties.

:-

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Installation/Service Engineer role required to work mainly within Essex, London and the Home Counties.

Installation predominantly, with some Service/Repairs/Maintenance works.

Possibility of working away on occasional installation projects.

Must be F-Gas Qualified Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working as an installation Air Conditioning Engineer.

Must have experience working on and installing a range of different air conditioning systems, split systems, cassettes, VRV's and VRF'S and various refrigeration systems.

Working on a range of contracts

Reactive attendance to emergency callouts on a 1 in 4/5 callout rota.

Requirements:-

F-Gas qualification is essential.

Ideal Candidate must have previous experience working as an Installation Air Conditioning Engineer.

Must have an installation background and knowledge/experience of fault finding on service work.

Other multi-skilled qualifications (electrical/mechanical) welcome but not essential

Ideally holds: City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, IPAF,PASMA, Skillcard or equivalent.

Experience with Multi Heat Recovery, VRV's, Splits, Controls, AHU's

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Has a high level of professionalism and ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Communicating with Clients and colleagues.

Full Clean Driving Licence.

Package:-

Basic Salary competitive rate of pay, dependent on experience (Negotiable), plus Overtime, Plus Standby Pay, Plus Company Profit Bonus. Plus Door to door travel pay.

Company Van + Fuel Card + Phone

Starting 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays. Increases to a maximum of 25 days + Bank Holidays.

Company Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme

Standard Hours 40 Hours per week

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 45,000.00 per year
