We have an exciting opportunity for an Operative role to join our experienced yarn, warping and weaving team. Within this role, you will be responsible developing the skills to move between assets/roles based on company requirements with Drawing, Warping, Weaving and Knotting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assessing the job requirements and communicating with other colleagues
Using handling equipment to move product between areas
Ensuring the equipment is operating correctly and within desired parameters
Identifying and rectifying faults
Working with different yarn compositions, understanding the handling and tension that each requires to successfully knot the job on
Checking related documentation and following agreed work practices to complete tasks to a high standard
Ensure that the production schedule is followed to minimise downtime
Support safe working environments and practices for self and others
This gives an appreciation of what is required of the role but is not an extensive list of duties. A willingness to assist in other areas of production is required.
