The Mill - one of Lurgan's most respected cafes - is looking for an experienced All Rounder to come in and help out in a number of roles.

We would like someone with barista experience to a very high standard, front of house customer service sklills and experience working in a deli or kitchen.

We require people with a range of skills to help out where they can and gain an overall understanding of the business and its needs,

To fit in at The Mill and align with our ethos, you will need to be reliable, hard working, have great interpersonal skills and impeccable time-keeping. Working in the hospitality industry is incredibly tough, so team players are a must.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble bagels and other menu items, maintaining a cool head during the rush
- Use the coffee machine
- Prep food from raw
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at all times
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Operate equipment and ovens
- Complete daily paper work
- Check stock inventory and place orders
- Follow open and close instructions

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, Subway/sandwich shop or food preparation setting is preferred
- Latte art skills
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Knowledge of HACCP and record keeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Experience with meal preparation and handling various ingredients

Expected hours: 25+

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
