The Role
You'll play a key role in producing high-quality welded assemblies, ensuring every job meets the exacting standards our customers expect. Working from engineering drawings, you'll contribute to projects from start to finish, carrying out your own quality checks and taking pride in your work.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out TIG Aluminium welding to a high standard.
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
Maintain accurate traceability for filler rod materials.
Monitor welding equipment for correct usage and temperatures.
Keep up to date with industry standards to ensure compliance and safety.
Support the wider production team when required (full training will be provided for any additional tasks).
What We're Looking For
Skilled in
Aluminium TIG Welding
(essential).
MIG/MAG welding experience (desirable).
Able to read and work from engineering drawings (essential).
Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Relevant welding qualifications/certifications are an advantage.
Aluminium MIG welding experience (desirable).
Basic computer literacy (desirable).
The Work Environment
This is a hands-on, shop floor-based role in a busy manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in manual handling, working with hand tools, welding equipment, and computers.
